In December, at C3F, it’s not Santa Claus that we expect, but the annual visit from the ISO auditor coming to insure we are still operating our business along the rules set by the ISO standard.

 

Developed in 1987 by the World Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001 is revised annually and adopted by a large number of companies.

C3F obtained its first ISO certification, in 2004. To get it, it was necessary to ensure and demonstrate that C3F's work and quality processes met customer expectations and complied to the standard. A quality management manual had to be created and then came the various audits.

 

The first audit is to assess whether our documents are complying with the requirements set by the standard. The second is carried out in the field and the auditors scrutinize our processes and various work practices.

 

Initially certified under the ISO 9001:2008 standard, C3F has evolved to ISO 9001:2015 in 2017, combining the 2008 requirements to efficient purchasing, employee satisfaction, efficient utilization of the company’ resources and sound risk management.

 

Our ISO Certification and those annual audits are a clear demonstration that we strive for constant improvement and that we are committed to providing the highest level of quality in all we do.
